It's the second Wick Village Scarecrow Festival!
Come and explore our wonderful village and see the handmade scarecrows located throughout the village, just grab a map and follow the route to find your favourite. We will also be running a Name Your Favourite Scarecrow competition with a chance to win a cash prize donated by the team at Going Spare. All you need to do is think of a name for your favourite scarecrow and write it on the back of your map along with your name and contact details and hand it into Wick Information Centre by 4pm on Tuesday 3rd September, if they're not open, please post it through the letterbox.
The scarecrow maps are free and available from 11am on Saturday 24th August from Morrisons, The Flower Shop and the Wick Information Centre (during opening times).
To launch the festival we will have to very special guests, Wick Villages very own Worzel Gummidge and Aunt Sally 😂, joining us at the Free Family Cream Tea at Wick Hall between 1pm - 4pm. So grab your camera and come along and meet them and enjoy a cuppa and a cream scone on us.
